Observations at half the year- PQD

At beginning of year was not sure how PQD, PQM, and PQS would fall out with requalifying-
Not sure how everyone else is doing but so far
PQM- 51,118
PQS- 55
PQD- $7,942

At beginning of year I thought PQD may be difficult-
I try to buy the lowest cost ticket I can when traveling on United metal and will even book less desirable airports and drive to save airfare cost Eg..(PHL, BWI instead of EWR or CLT, RDU, GSO, FAY, CAE when heading to the Carolinas)

I seem to have no issue with PQD-
Is this really a non-factor for business travelers?

PQM - 36771
PQS - 36
PQD - $9603

I think its not an issue for domestic business travelers. Probably a different story for the folks who only travel internationally 6-10 times a year for work.

A bit tighter here, but the year is only half over... I should have 125,000 PQM, 120 PQS and just over $10,000 PQD at the end of the year. I am on a combination of business and personal travel.

PQM: 57000
PQS: 90
PQD: over $10000

I think PQD is an issue for leisure travelers and very few frequent business travelers.

I thought I might end the year a little short on PQM since they don't count upgrade copays, but I'm forecast for 11.5 cpm (PQD/PQM) so it's a non-issue.

Combo Business and Personal. May not make the $5k gold PQD, it will be close. But have the CC waiver.

No issue for me either, with 90% business travel.

PQM = 30,011
PQS= 29
PQD = $4,113

A potential issue for me. I fly all US routes, mostly relatively short though a couple of trips to Alaska this year that were more expensive. I've been surprised at the slow growth, but the posted numbers look right. Work for a non-profit and watch prices closely.

Premier qualifying miles: 34,057
Premier qualifying segments: 27
Premier qualifying dollars: $2,898

PQM - ~51K
PQS - 38.5
PQD - Over $10K

Mainly Domestic, 1 trip to Japan (but that was only $1200 and 2 segments). 2 segments approximately weekly. Wish it wasn't "and" PQD and they would do PQD as another way to qualify.

Gonna be cutting it close:

PQM: 49,422
PQS: 14
PQD: $4,926

I'm coming in at almost exactly $0.10/mile, with about 65% of my 2014 travel still ahead of me, though a couple of domestic AI segments and an upcoming SQ flight from DEL-CGK will not earn PQD. I'll hit the miles for 1K but may have to do a dollar run in December if I am within spitting distance of $10k.

not making any effort anymore.

PQM ~29K
PQS 19.5
PQD ~$1300

half my PQD was on a single one way ticket that yielded 3K of my PQM. in other words, 26K of my PQM were earned spending only $650 of PQD.

one more revenue one way scheduled on UA (10 cents/mile), everything else is award travel mostly on partners. 100% of my revenue is going to DL and AS at this point.

I could be imagining this but it seems like my PQD is much lower than the actual $ I am paying directly to United for these tickets...
