Arrivals facilities

An Arrivals facility is a retreat where United Global First and United BusinessFirst customers arriving by noon on a same-day ticket may freshen up with a shower. Guests can enjoy a breakfast and use complimentary Wi-Fi at some locations. Start your day refreshed at an Arrivals facility.

Before their departing international flight, United Global First and United BusinessFirst customers must ask a United representative at the airport to access the Arrivals facility. Access is subject to availability. Customers cannot bring guests into the Arrivals facilities.

Arriving Business or First on *A is what gets you in.

There is a thread on the LH forum for this. Assuming that the thread is up-to-date, they won't get in with an SQ C BP.

If connecting, they can use SQ C BP or their United Club card to get into the LH Business lounge. UA is special in that BusinessFirst gets access to the LH Welcome Lounge in FRA.

MAN Arrivals Lounge/ Showers

I'm flying into MAN and wanted to know if there are any options to have a shower upon arrival? I'm flying on LH codeshare on UA.

Radisson Blu Hotel (connected to T2 via Skybridge) offers showers in their gym. I believe it was about GPB6 or so. You will get a locker and towel. They can keep your luggage at the gym desk while you take what you need in to the locker room.

You can also do breakfast in their restaurant, separate of course. So kind of the "make your own arrival lounge" program.

Not if you are arriving. *A club is for departing pax, so you'd need to be connecting to an onward flight from CDG.

Yup. My practice is that when I fly to CDG, if I can't upgrade at booking and have to pay for business, unless UA is much cheaper I am inclined to book AF just to have the arrivals lounge (and I like their soft product better too, barring strikes, just not enough to move the needle by itself over the seat difference). The shower just makes a big difference in your day if you are going straight to work (or can't check into your hotel until 3, which is pretty much every time).

Arrival Lounge list

The arrival lounge list from united.com is no longer to be found. The page listing them now only lists the one in SFO. I can find the lists in old blog posts, including one of my own. Does anyone know if the current list of lounges is published anywhere? I know they exist - I just used the one in LHR. I am particularly interested in knowing if there is still a lounge in GVA. United's old list says it is at the Movenpick hotel. I land in GVA Monday morning.

UA eliminated the arrivals program. The lounges in SFO and LHR are now the only ones.

I am guessing there is no arrivals lounge in GVA. I could not find any on the website.

There used to be public showers at Gare Cornavin, an 8 minute nonstop train ride from GVA, and a gateway to local transportation. The station's Wikipedia entry lists showers as one of the public facilities.
