The Multiple Destination Option Hates Me

Sorry if this is an elementary question, but I am new and need help (couldn't find anything in a search).
Trying to use the multiple destination option to book MEM-EWR on 6/9 and then EWR-PUJ on 6/10. It only gives me an error when I try to see award travel. How do I do this??

Dumb question, but could you just do a one-way search for MEM-PUJ on 9 June?

When I try this, it gives me a bunch of options through EWR, for example the below Monday-night + Tuesday-morning:

I guess you probably want a longer stay in EWR?

Any idea what I am doing wrong on the multiple destination?

I can 100% absolutely repeat your problem with a multicity search with these two segments. Dunno what to tell you; big bummer.

You can always call in to get phone agents to help piece together inventory, but you may have to pay a phone booking fee.

Thanks, at least I'm not the only one.
So normally, should this work? Or am I doing something wrong?

Can't help but the OP's title reminds me of this classic 'article' (strong language disclaimer)

And interestingly, it doesn't give me the Economy Saver as an option. Only the other three options.

I had the same issue with FMO-FRA overnight FRA-IST. Error every time. I just had to call in and get it done.

That's the only flight listed to PUJ.
