Well, it can be avoided if there is another sign telling pax that they need to put used the 'new TP' into the disposal container. That would be a completed picture then....

^ It also reminded me of the old napkins printed with "Number One in On-Time Performance."
Those would have done the job as well. And of course the simple elegance of "Thank you for flying United. We're glad you're here" would have been tasteful.

My LAX-NRT last week had no TP in one of the lavs either. FA response was "we don't have any spare"
If this is a new cost reduction move to avoid people "stealing" TP rolls someone with inflight service needs to think what happens 7 hours into an 11 hour flight

I'm going to need some TP after reading this! I just about peed my pants laughing! Thank you so much for sharing this. ^ Totally made my day.
I agree with pretty much everyone who already posted before me...BEST. UNITED. PHOTO. EVER! Adequately sums up everything going on with the airline right now.

well, i am enjoying revisiting this thread after a glass of wine...
a few i have come up with courtesy of the vino...
"in case you needed more evidence that UA was in the crapper"
"you better not need to go there, or There, or THERE"
"just wait til you see what we did to the food!"
"our best effort to wipe away the competition"
"you cant BYOB, but you should BYOTP"

Explorer card (brochure) is the next candidate!
They can put extra "Explorer card" brochures on board for the same purpose. Pax would be totally amazed by "You are In" slogan.
