What's the difference between the PMUA 763's w/ winglets and those without?

I know thee are two seating configs... But are there certain 763's do and certain that do not have winglets? Why?

14 PMUA 767-300's have both winglets and the new two class PMCO style interior. The winglets save fuel on long routes. I would expect to see these airplanes on long thin routes that can't support a 777/747.

If i'm not mistaken I believe CDG - SFO would be the longest flight using the 2-cabin 763 in the UA system.

Well short of it - in still air it's about 1000nm less than its maximum range with a full passenger load, and even westbound with headwinds that would be significantly below the max.

So, the ones with the winglets are the 2 cabin and the ones without are 3 cabin?

That's what I meant to ask in my original question.
