More Caribbean service out of IAH would be nice too. As you mention, with US leaving Star, this is going to leave a big hole in Star as they have much more exhaustive Caribbean service than UA. I'm not holding my breath on more service though....

What is the range to Auckland? ORD-AUK would be a great route
How would Houston to Auckland work for you? Oh wait, forget that. SWA is going to fly HOU-CUN so no more Houston to Auckland for UA

SFO-ATL and v.v. Route was taken away a couple years back and it's painful.

I really do wish they had a flight from NRT to MNL- on a 777

EWR - ACC will be nice since IAD to ACC was cancelled

LAX-FRA. I can't grab, how UA can leave the entire So.Cal-Germany & hub to hub market to LH, who operates as many as 21 weekly nonstops out of LAX.

I could also see NRT or HKG - CGK developping potential, with the Indonesian economy growing steadily, close to 3x times the size of Vietnam. Not to mention Bali. National flag carrier Garuda is rather weak.

Don't think the route would even break the top 10 longest current non-stop flights.

Probably not, but UA doesn't have the equipment to do the ultra-long haul flights.

Anything to OAK (bring back OAK-DEN, although LAX or IAH would also be alright)

I'm fed up with taking bart to SFO to wait for my inevitably delayed flight.

They do that because there is an antitrust immunity in place (click) under which they all share all revenues on the routes under the agreement.

So from a business perspective they are by no means leaving "the entire So.Cal-Germany & hub to hub market to LH". They are just using the antitrust construct for exactly what it has been put in place for.

SRS - LAX.

Also a later NYC to SFO so that I can safely leave NYC after work and get to the west coast. 8pm would do but 7pm is impossible.

I'd like to see all of the European flights from EWR that were given up to partner codeshares reinstated. These days if you want to fly to Europe from the East Coast on UA, your options are largely LH codeshares. LH is nice and all, but they keep their cabins too warm.

Most specifically, I'd like to see EWR-ATH non-stop seasonal from pmCO once again.

+1 EWR-MNL. Popular business capital with no non-stop flights from the East Coast.
