actually I wasnt aware that 'IN' was a fare class and used the IN since it was the 1st 2 letters of the word Invisible originally used IV but changed it to IN. Will go Edit it so no one will think IN is an actual bucket where CPUs come out of

Ok - what is the process to turn on "Expert Mode" on the flight selection/view?

Yeah -- how dare a for profit company try to sell seats when there are people who didn't pay for them who want them freebie? It's downright unamerican. Oh, I guess it's not and CPU's will have to wait in case a paying customer wants to buy one.

It's ok... I have a flight that is F9 R9 and F only booked to 6/24 that didn't clear as a 1K at T-48. Will CPU clear at T-24? Stay tuned!

I'm guessing this one is just stuck, but if not, it's a little odd, although I imagine I will clear at some point so I'm not worried.

I would be happy with that but the inconsistency at which the upgrade process works at UA is in question (nothing new I guess after reading all comments). I agree that airlines would like to sell all the seats even at $3000 and I wish they did and made more money. However the experiences with complimentary upgrade has become highly confusing and its the only reason that makes me stick with an airline.

BTW its way under T-72 and still its showing R=9 and still upgrade pending.

Maybe not, if they all exp 1/31/13 by using them they are in front of all those waiting for CPU to clear

Something is wrong with tooltrash's story. R=9. All of those should have cleared instantly.

tooltrash said he used it for a Sunday PHX-DEN flight, not this Sunday's PHX-DEN flight.

Oftentimes I wonder if by T-24, UA really queue upgrades by status-->fareclass--->checkinTime. So far I have 8 segments (4 RT flights-G fare), 0CPU upgrades and always at the 15th or higher on the waitlist when regardless what seatmap showed for F seats. Hard to believe there are so many 1K ahead of me.

Amen. That captures it perfectly.
