Just bought a ticket on UA.com with a non-US CC but used a USD gift certificate and got this little disclaimer under it:
Continental cannot guarantee the accuracy of the exchange rates displayed. Actual rates you receive may vary.
You missed a spot, CO!

One of many...
I love how the timetable download says in the text on the site, "Download United.pdf..." yet when you click the link, it downloads CO.pdf...
Or that e-cert service e-mails come from "coair.com."

I just got off a 2.5 hour phone call (2.25 of it on hold) with UA Reservations/Web Support because apparently the system bugs out when you try to use a USD gift cert on a non-USD fare. UA/CO never fail to disappoint.
