Trouble using United.com when searching for 3-class F award inventory

When I use United.com to search for 3-class F award inventory, I get a calendar that shows all dates available (which is a great feature). The dates highlighted in blue or green have business or first class inventory (they are grouped together as one in the query options). However, I have found that if F award is available when C award is NOT available, the calendar just shows either white (no award inventory) or yellow (economy only). In other words, the calendar doesn't accurately reflect when F awards are available, only when C awards are available. This means I have to click on every date to get a true picture of F award availability in a month. Can someone tell me if I'm just completely missing something? Does United intend it to be this way for some reason? Does anyone have a better way to work around this? Thanks in advance for your help!

The calendar is definitely buggy. I've also seen a situation recently where partner economy inventory was available but the calendar showed up white. It pays to dig deeper sometimes..

I assume it's incorrect, and always check all dates I'm interested in. United inventory reflects accurately IME, but partner inventory does not.

Even if UA.COM shows award availability for partners, that's no guarantee use the ANA site. You can check 7 days at a time by class

When I try to use ANA tool, it tells me I don't have enough miles to search their tool.

The CO reward tool has been a mess since it was created and it's even worse now. I've had a few First class award reservations taken all the way through ticketing to only be placed into "Coach (IN)" - I would love to know how the IN bucket maps to economy. Even the seat map would only let me select economy seats....sigh....

As usual, the best thing to do for award tickets is call.
