Earning UA EQMs on TK flight number operated by MH

Earning UA EQMs on TK flight number operated by MH
I'm hoping someone with more nous than I can help with this question....
Having looked online I can't find a conclusive answer.
I am planning on booking a J flight LHR-KUL.
TK have a very competitive price LHR-IST-KUL.
However, the IST-KUL leg is on MH metal.
The UA website is not desperately helpful, so the question I have is will I earn UA miles, particularly EQMs on the IST-KUL leg? (It has a TK flight number)

MH earns RDMs only on DL (for certain fare basis only) but I doubt a TK code shared flight # would earn any DL miles since TK isnt a DL partner. But it doesnt hurt to ask MH to put in a DL acct # and hope it credits somehow
