Trip Cancellation Insurance for Old MP Chase Cards?
My parents were supposed to fly this weekend to visit my grandparents on a trip. Unfortunately my grandmother got sick 2 weeks ago while visiting my parents and is still in the hospital where my parents live. As such, they obviously won't be taking the trip this weekend.
I know the new MP Explorer card has $3,000 of coverage for Trip Cancellation that includes sickness of Immediate Family. My parents have the old MP Select card. I thought I saw somewhere that that card had a similar benefit, but can't find any documentation about it. When she called Chase, they told her that the card didn't have the benefit.
Does anyone know for a fact if the MP Select cards had this benefit and any experience in using it?
