We’re making some changes to the Million Miler program. Starting May 4, 2020, we’re excited to announce that we’ll be giving bonus miles for each Million Miler level achieved above 1 million miles. As a result, we will be retiring our gift site and ask that if you wish to select a gift you do so by May 31, 2020. If no gift is selected, we will deposit bonus miles into your account to show our appreciation for your continued loyalty.
I just got off the phone with MP. Here is the new program:
1. Gift site will be closed on June 1, 2020
2. Selections need to be made by May 31, 2020
3. Those who achieved MM status before April 2, 2020 can select gift.
4. Those achieving status as of April 3, 2020 must take miles.
5. The new Gift Tiers are:
- 1M LT miles gets (I forgot to ask)
- 2M LT miles gets 35,000 MP miles
- 3M LT miles gets 35,000 MP miles
- 4M LT miles gets 40,000 MP miles
- 5M LT miles gets 50,000 MP miles

After getting the new card and info pack in the mail about 3-1/2 weeks ago, I kept getting 'not available' whenever I tried to log on. Tried today and it was a very smooth transaction. The Tumi organizer was not available so I took the iPod. I agree with some of the other posts that a travel option (SWUs, etc.) would have been nice as well.

I hit 2MM (BIS) on UA in June 2008. Never received the congratulatory email and gift choice options. Sheepishly I called UA 4 months later to inform them of my "milestone" and they looked into it. About six weeks later, I received a box from Tiffany which had a beautiful silver business card holder with CONGRATULATIONS 2 MILLION MILE FLYER - UNITED (tulip logo) engraved on the back.
BTW, at 1MM (1998) I received some UA books and some UA related trinkets. Also, was invited to a special UA hosted party held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel (remember the Beverly Hills CTO???)

Two Luggage Tags or One?
The brochure in the gift box containing the identity card indicated that the gift box contained two luggage tags. My gift box contained only one luggage tag.

To celebrate this remarkable achievement, we are pleased to invite you to select your gift if you haven't already done so.
As a three Million Miler, your status will remain Premier® 1K® or higher based on your future qualifying miles or segments.
Thank you again for your continued loyalty and business.
The gift choices included a Tumi Bag and a Logitec Harmony remote ( the high end one). I went over 3M sometime last year and just got a note saying I had 1K for life.

Gift Arrived
The 2MM gift arrived yesterday, just about three weeks after I selected it on line. ^ It was shipped from "Pine Brook, NJ" and there was no email or tracking info sent prior to its delivery. It was actually packaged quite nicely, except for the fact that my name was misspelled.

You were promised "Lifetime RCC membership" if you flew 2MM prior to 12/31/2011!
That benefit was rescinded effective 1/1/2012, if you didn't qualify by that time.
If you qualified, and haven't gotten your "Lifetime" card which, btw expires each year, then you should probably call.
