YCA on LH (UA Codeshare) Question
Hoping a UA expert can help me...
I am a US customer, but will be flying on LH metal (UA codeshare) on a U.S. government YCA fare.
I know mileage credit is based on the operating carrier’s agreement with US or UA. However, just want to make sure that LH will consider the UA/YCA ticket/fare as a "Y" fare when they calculate the mileage.
Is that correct? Just don't want to find out after the fact that LH considers a YCA fare a lower fare that won't earn any credit whatsoever.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Are you planning on crediting US DM program? The UA codeshare is a non-factor -- it will purely be a LH/US issue
if so, this might be the wrong forum -- but this might be a good resource

Yes. My apologies - right, this is really a US/LH issue. I will post it over there.
