1st Class Upgrade - NYC to LAS - Only $67??
You lucked out on that. I'm flying TPA-IAH-LAS in January and both flights r wait list only and didn't offer a buy up. I'm a 1K so I'll see what the upgrades r like than. Vegas isn't as popular in winter.

I was curious to see how it would play out and thought I will take it later (I checked in on my cell and generally don't like doing financial transactions on mobile). Of course three hours later when I did go on my PC, the upgrade standby list was 29 long - I was surprisingly still 2nd on the upgrade list as had been at 24h - however, the two available F seats were gone so I suppose people did jump on the offer...

C was full. (767). But I was still surprised to see such I low offer. Y was not full.
You guessed right about not taking it which in hindsight I felt was the wrong decision. My reason (excuse) were that my last minute Y ticket cost about 3 times as much as the upgrade offer and i had spent a lot on the trip - I quickly decided that I didn't deserve to splash anymore money on myself.
I think if it wasn't that near to closure of check-in, a few more seconds of thinking it through would have resulted in me taking the offer.
