Apparently a UX pax altered a photo in the May 2011 Hemispheres

Was on a DEN to YEG flight tonight, and noticed that the Hemisphere's magazine was the CO branded version (the reason I dug it out was because one of the FAs was having an altercation with a pax in the row in front of me, and I wanted to bury my nose as deep as possible into reading material [I'm an ipad kind of guy now].

Anyway, I flipped to the page that has the CEO's message with his photo. It was "modified".

Nuff said. I chuckled most of the flight.

That's awful.... and great... simultaneously.

Much better than the one I gave him: the Rollie Fingers style mustache.

Handing a one and magazine to my kids and telling them they can alter the photos keeps them busy for minutes (hours in adult time). Should I let them loose on his photo? Who knows what they'll come up with

No "signing in" of Hemispheres is complete without a photo alteration! Make sure you add that to the signing thread! ^

I started my alterations many months ago, when the 1K benefits started heading south.

We are sorry to inform you but certain letters of the alphabet, like certain aspects of the first class cabin, are being discontinued in an effort to pinch pennies. The R's--like the pillows--were just too expensive for the world's leading airline.

Perhaps SMI/J has watched this movie recently after depositing his bonus into the bank?

Moving Forward?

No, there is just limited R inventory.
