Minimum Age to Enter United Club Alone? (without an accompanying adult)

This is a bit peculiar, just wondering what you all know about this.

CO says that one must be 21 to purchase a PC membership
UA says that one must be 18 to purchase a RCC membership
US says that one must be 18

If you have a US membership or a UA membership, can you access a PC?
A friend asked me this and I don't know...

Those are the correct numbers to join/access, you can try to access with another clubs card. But the rules would seem to indicate you will not be granted admission (provided they are indeed carded at the door).

I would say this would be a good question to e-mail to customer service.

Even though the UA rules are 18+, CO still abides by 21+. Some have said that * Gold can access the PC at 18+..

Then why not allow under 21 RCC members access to the PC?

I don't know if 18-20 RCC card holders can access the PC but I would assume that they can since they already have a membership. The PC membership age verification occurs at the time of application, not upon entry to the PC.

The PC age rule was amended right after the merger to allow access to 18-20 year-olds and someone posted the full text of the new rule on FT. I can't remember the title of the thread and a search didn't help but I know it was in the CO forum.

As of December, PCs were still refusing access to RCC members under 21. Any chance you have a copy of the policy profile that shows the changes? In IAH, a "one-time" exception was made.

I can confirm that when I was under 21 I was turned away from a PC club.

However, I found a guy waiting by a near by gate who was more then willing to be my 'guardian'

US and UA allow 18+ to access their clubs. It is CO that is the problem.

I was able to get in multiple times after an ID check. I'm 21 now so I can't test it again.
