My first box post, but I was not sure where else to post this. I sat in my office today and realized I was not traveling this week. I thought about it and meandered through my past history on UAL. Since that horrible March day several years ago that both systems merged, I have only missed 8 weeks without a flight on UAL. When I combine Southwest to the equation, I have traveled every week since that day until now. How do I remember that was when I started traveling again? Well, funny you ask, I chose to start heavy travel again 3 years, the very week, in fact the very day, that UAL and CO merged their computers, in fact that year it was my first flight of the year. I flew that whole week as a General Member, rose up through the entire ranks of status, and then pouted each year about why I continued to do this and did not hire someone else to do my job.
I was not sure where else to post this, but I found it interesting. Wow, I really can't sit still in the office anymore.
Correction, I just found two weeks where I did not travel and cancelled Southwest flights. Damn, not as impressive anymore.
