To FCC or not to FCC

I checked the sticky but there was nothing

I will be arriving at 11:15am departing on another flight at 1:45pm (both flights from T3.) Arriving / departing in J and a UK citizen.

My main question is: is there a 'premium' security line when going through security airside? I have found that the regular premium line can often be 10x faster than the regular line.

Thanks!

Where are you arriving from? If from outside the UK & Ireland you'll have to pass through immigration if you went landside which you wouldn't have to do using the FCC

Can you not avoid the FCC? I think there's a provision to intra T3 transfers, which will probably be a security scan back onto the T3 airside area.
