Advance tickets now changeable for free on Cross Country Trains
Good news if you're planning on travelling on Cross Country Trains. (Generally speaking, services from the North East via Birmingham to the South West, among others.)
Advance tickets - can now have date/ time changed with no admin fee, as long as you bought the ticket from their website (not other operators, third parties or stations) and change the ticket 24 hours before travel.
You'll still have to pay the difference in fare (or receive a refund if the new fare is lower ^) but you'll save the £10 admin fee.
