Heathrow Passport Control Wrote on my Passport Stamp
Hello All,
Earlier this year I travelled through LHR as a non rev for a few days, and when I went through customs, I was asked pretty much the normal amount of questioning. Nothing too out of the ordinary. When I looked at my passport stamp though, in the top left corner, the agent wrote either 17 or 7, and circled it. Anyone know what this means?

I'm not sure, but did this happen at immigration, or were you stopped at customs? I'm assuming the former - they are two separate things

More likely, the endorsement is "IT" which is simply an abbreviation for "IN TRANSIT" and is a classification for anyone who intends to remain for less than 48 hours in the UK with no specified purpose other than en route to another country.
