F-35 appearance possibility loophole
http://www.defensenews.com/article/2...y-Ease-F-35-UK
Apparently, the United States Marines might be able to clear the F-35 for flight even if other US or UK agencies have not, according to this article.

The way I am approaching it is that I'm expecting it NOT to be there but secretly internally still hoping it will be there, so I can be excited if it is confirmed to be there and less upset if it is not. Applying mind tricks to myself I hope will help ease any disappointment if it doesn't appear :-)

At least they still haven't officially said it won't be there at Farnborough like they have for the Fairford Air Tattoo airshow.

Hmm. I won't be anywhere near my AA card for a couple of days. Perhaps another member could login and check?
I was surprised this offer runs right up to 18 July, as I initially thought that was a typo and they meant to state it ended 18 June - seems odd they were offering the discount throughout the sale period.
Take your card along and visit the AA van - they usually dole a free cuppa and some trinkets to members who have their card on them.
Children go free, so it's not such bad value for a day out.

However, it now asks for your AA membership number on the final booking page. At least this will benefit AA members, if not others.
