Flying BA F from T5, possible to lounge hop to T4?

I have an upcoming trip planned, departing on BA F from Terminal 5. I'd love to check out the Qatar Airways lounge in Terminal 4 which I've heard so much about.

Is it possible to lounge hop to T4 if I don't have a departing flight from that Terminal?

**Nvm, this is probably a stupid question.

As above, no, you cannot access other LHR terminals without a valid departing boarding pass from that terminal.

There are a few exceptions, namely that if you wish to shop in a shop that is only present in another terminal and not your terminal of departure, you can be escorted to shop there if you enough time before departure. There would be no possibility of using the lounges in this scenario, however.

The BA Concorde Room in T5 is very nice, and is on a par with the QR Premium Lounge in T4.

Thanks guys! I realized that for security reasons probably very unlikely to be able to visit a different Terminal. I guess I'll just have to visit LHR Terminal 4 on another trip.

Note that QR's T5 facility is not a oneworld lounge and no matter what cabin or status is shown on your boarding card, you will not be able to enter unless you hold a QR J or F ticket.

oneworld F/J passengers on any airline (which is just MH and QR in T4) can enter. oneworld Emerald and Sapphire pax not travelling in F/J cannot enter, and are sent to the SkyTeam lounge if travelling on QR.

Can MH F/J pax really enter the QR lounge? I'm fairly sure they'd be directed to the MH lounge.

Yes, MH F/J pax can enter the QR lounge, however, I'm not sure the flight times mean a lot of pax would do this (or even know they could do this).

Both the MH and QR lounges are very nice at LHR, although I would say the QR lounge has the edge.
