I currently have an award held for F IST-JFK in March/April 2010. How likely is it that I will get to try the F Suite? Should I risk it? Likely to get swapped to 2 cabin? I won't be able to change my itinerary without a hefty fee once its ticketed....

Thanks but your answer wasn't really clear on which "no" you were referring to.

1. No, the route is not likely to still be operating with F

or

2. No, TK was not getting rid of the 77W and therefore YES, you will get a 3 cabin aircraft.

But really, I just want to know if TK is likely to swap the 77W for something else on the IST-JFK route, that's all.

And has been written ad nauseum on this and other threads, TK has been switching these things like crazy and no one on earth can tell you with any degree of certainty whether n 6 months time they will swap your a/c.

Now this one is weird...
I booked 5 F seats on the TK BKK-IST run for Dec 9. I called my travel agent and they say that when they check normal availbility it shows 77w. When they check direct access it shows 340 but it still sells F. What is going on here? what will happen when we show up at the airport and there is no F, if that is the case?

According W09/10 timetable, 77W routes are JFK, NAR and HKG.

In this situation, always go with Direct Access (Sabre) or known as inventory display (Amadeus).

Anyway to check historical information over the last month or two for TK1, 2, 60, 61? I know that it would be no indication of what's to come but just curious to see how often the 777 actually went out as scheduled on JFK-IST-BKK

Is there a place to check Actual rather than scheduled? Or is the equipment type listed accurate even though it says Scheduled next to it?

Not sure if it helps but I have F booked on TK for IST-BKK and then BKK-IST-JFK and it all shows as 77W. This is for Feb 2010.

I am flying TK 61 (17 dec) & 60 (13 jan) IST-BKK-IST three weeks from now with my family (5 pax).

I am about to make seat reservation but are not sure whether this AC is the Jet wetlease or TKs own.

there is a difference in terms of good and bad seats according to seatguru and I want to make sure I pick the right seats...

also, KVS are showing A340 while checkmytrip are showing 777. what is going on?
