Hi,
I just completed a trip ZRH-IST-BKK-IST-ZRH, all segments in C.
Some remarks:
* The intra-europe flights are fantastic. Pre-departure drinks (incl. champagne), menues were distributed, attentive FAs, seats with foot rest and an acceptable pitch - better than Y. I had some sauteed chicken which was in fact one of the most delicous airplane meals I ever tasted.
* IST airport: Slightly above average, I´d say, nothing to write home about.
* CIP lounge: By far not as bad as I read here before. Yes, the different styles might be confusing, but a solid selection of snacks and food and an open bar does it for me. (Better than LXs ZRH lounge regarding food for sure).
* Longhaul: Seat average. It´s marketed as flat, but it is not. It is roughly the same than LX, worse than TG and LH. But enough for some hours of sleep.
FAs again excellent, very attentive. IFE is AVOD, thus good. Nice selection.
Before the meal service you get a huge menue where you can mark all your selection in great details (compare to one of those breakfast sheets for room service in hotels). Top notch, this experience.
One small drawback: No immigration cards were distributed upon arrival in BKK

.
Conclusion: Solid product together with a very competitive price (1,930 EUR all in). I´m happy to have an alternative carrier within *A for my SE asia travels when in C.
