Award chart sweet spots for US-based travelers

TK's Capacity Controlled awards seem hard to come by, and their standard awards are far more expensive in miles and surcharges terms than other Star airlines. What sweet spots exist for US-based travelers, particularly in Y?

I wouldn't necessarily agree with that the awards are more expensive in miles and surcharges than other Star airlines. 90k miles for business trans-Atlantic is decent in my opinion. The surcharges are very high, but are determined by other airlines' "fuel"-surcharges.

To answer your questions about sweet spots perhaps North America - Middle Asia/Africa/East at about 65k in Y are pretty good? But redeeming in C has better value, considering the surcharges.
