IST-KGL 8:50 hours on 737-900?

IST-KGL 8:50 hours on 737-900?
Any opinions on the 737-900 for a longhaul flight? Other alternative is Brussels airlines. I assume for M class it wont make much difference on either carrier, but from the pictures it seems that the J class difference is huge! Flatbeds on SN, 6 inch recline on TK ... Can anyone confirm?

The TK product is perfectly fine on a daytime flight. But it is far away from angled flat, let alone full flat - which is what SN offers. KGL, like most African destinations, involves an overnight flight in one direction (KGL-IST is overnight).
