It's worth going on YouTube and searching 'Turkish airlines business class'. There are quite a few reviews, including a couple of mine! I think the a340's have an older seat (correct me if I'm wrong people).

compared to? routing?
in general:
*expect a fancy and HUGE, but hugely-overcrowded lounge at IST
*really good food on the ground and in the air; even on short segments
*some very unique perks if you have long layover (free city tour, day hotels, etc)
*fair seats. no complaints except there is no aisle access for all
*okay IFE. whatever.
*25/75% of getting good vs horrible ground service
*50/50% of getting good vs horrible air service
*if anything goes wrong, irrops, delays misconnects...pray to whatever deity you worship

Last summer we flew on Turkish and the business class was really nice. The Service was good and I must say the food was very good and there was good selection. The seats were perhaps little old but I had good sleep. The Istanbul lounge was quite popular but servings There was good and it was changed often.
