TK Elite/Elite Plus: ever got upgraded on other *A carriers?

TK Elite/Elite Plus: ever got upgraded on other *A carriers?
Title says it all. I fly a lot on Air China and have never once felt the love while Phoenix Miles members around me have. Considering switching but TK has easier thresholds... any insights?

both me and my wife are Elite and got upgraded to Premium Economy on LOT from Warsav to Toronto and return (both legs!).
plane surely overbooked in economy as it was holiday season while premium and biz nearly empty, so several people were upgraded and i suppose we were quite on top of the list, missing many biz travelers which might carry a LOT status on regular periods.

Very rarely have I received upgrades Y=>C as a *G on alliance partner airlines. A few times, I managed to get Eco+ on UA and the status may have had something to do with it.
I don't think it makes a difference on what airline you are *G when flying on partners. In other words, LH*G = SQ*G = TK*G when flying on, say, NH.

I've been wondering about whether or not that is actually true or not. Especially on a LH/TK combination, with those two particularly actively and rather publicly minimizing the other's mileage credits...

i also got upgraded to E+ on UA a couple of times, but frankly do not even consider it an upgrade as there is basically no difference and it looks like they do it for everyone till plane is full...not sure somebody is really paying for E+ on UA...

Upgraded to Business..
Hi there,
On my last trip to DXB I got upgraded ZRH-DXB (LX) and DXB-FRA (LH)
from Economy to Business. Ticket was purchased on United stock. Was
pleasantly surprised that My TK *G was recognized..
Only once I was upgraded on TK itself. BOS-IST was to Business and
IST-DXB was to Economy Plus or their equivalent..
