Hanoi passenger service starts as of 27th June 2016.

more flights to LAX & IAD

Between July 11th and October 28th, TK adds three weekly services to IAD. LAX gets four additional weekly services.

Finally! It's about time that Los Angeles gets 2 flights a day. This has been a long time coming.

The flights will depart LAX at 4:55pm and 9:25pm. They will depart IST at 9:40am and 2:20pm.

more flights to TPE

The frequency to TPE will also be increased to 10x weekly plus 4x weekly on EVA Air. Considering that TPE is a fairly new destination and HKG only gets 6 weekly services, that is surprising.

Indeed. Just got back from TPE and both flights loads were less than stellar, both in Y and J.

Turkish Airlines will begin a 3 weekly service to Juba via Entebbe, from 26 March 2016, with a B737-900ER.

So will fly to Entebbe first then back to Juba?
I've seen scary reviews of Juba airport....

Bogota, Mexico City, Phuket, Seattle and Sydney

Turkish Airlines which added 299th aircraft to its fleet, has set its sights on the long-haul destinations. This year Atlanta in US, Hanoi in Vietnam, Mexico City, Bogota and Phuket will be opened. Also Seattle in US and Sydney in Australia are on TK's radar.

I read an article in Japanese stating that the chairman of TK wants to begin flights to HND (Tokyo Haneda) in 2016. Not a confirmation, but they do sometimes operate two flights to NRT, so it might make sense to shift one of them to HND instead.

03.02.2016 - Public Disclosures

The Incorporation has decided to start operating scheduled flights, based on fleet availability, to Ivano-Frankivsk of Ukraine, Bogota of Columbia and Panama.

According to the Colombian Civil Aviation Authority, Istanbul (IST) - Bogotá - Panama - Istanbul flights will be 4 times a week, as would begin on May 2, 2016.

Ivano-Frankivsk

Turkish Airlines starts flying from Istanbul Ataturk Airport to Ivano-Frankivsk in Ukraine. The flights will take place as of March 27th.
