Latin America

Turkish President Erdogan visits Latin America covering Colombia, Cuba and Mexico.

Two topics may potentially emerge as major achievements during the visit: the potential conclusion of the ongoing free trade agreements with Colombia and Mexico and the start of flights by Turkey's national flag carrier to all three countries this year, which has been on the agenda for the past couple of years.

According to this, Bogota should come in the future.

Also: Mexico City and Havana

He also said Turkish Airlines, the country's flag carrier airlines, is ready to launch flights between Mexico City, Havana and Istanbul.

Any news on the new airport in Yüksekova, Hakkari (YKO)? I mean it's just a regional airport and it can't take that long, this was supposed to be completed by the end of 2013 (sarcasm).
