Q1/2017

I really enjoyed premium MR RIX-EZE-RIX on some of the last days it was still available in February 2016. Booked in Y/O, upgraded to J using 2 Elite Plus vouchers for 4 segments. Parked more than 27k miles in my M&S account. Marvelous.

Any good premium MR advice for Q1/2017?

VNO-EZE-VNO in J is still visible on ITA but I'm unable to find it anywhere else. Has anyone spotted anything else in Baltics, Scandinavia, Eastern/Central Europe, Moscow, Kiev or nearby?

TLL slightly more expensive than VNO on same routes(GRU,EZE,SFO etc.).But since your location is RIX, I would fly from VNO.

They have been running some good deals on CPH-BKK now and again but obviously not as good a MR as EZE.

Maybe wait and see if they will do the valentines special again next year? Would actually be interesting to hear if anyone thinks they will continue that promotion taking into account their failing revenues

New lower fares from Montreal, I must say wow, it's even cheaper than flying out of YYZ, and for the first time it's less than $2500 USD. Officially no sales ending day so I presume this will stick around for a while.

YUL-ICN from $2491 USD
YUL-PVG from $2621 USD
YUL-NRT/PEK from $2672 USD
YUL-KIX from $2673 USD
YUL-SGN from $2717 USD
YUL-SIN from $2839 USD
YUL-CAN from $2857 USD

Now, if they'll offer even lower fares from YYZ.....

The good thing is that many Business fares from Baltic States are now bookable in K (used to be booked in J) - availability should be better...

My fav at the moment is YUL-IST-ICN, on vayama.com it's $2333 USD (€2080 incl taxes) for 31000+ status/bonus miles, 7.5 cpm for J, that's a heck of a deal. I am hoping for more deals out of YYZ soon, they need to fill those seats.

Never mind vivamuci. Your CPT-EZE trumpets all at 6 cpm, and with 41000 miles as Elites/+, it renews E+ by 1 single trip.

Crazy part of this is the reverse (EZE-CPT) is almost twice as much at $5000 USD, else I would've considered doing crazy status run via YYZ-PTY-EZE-IST-CPT-IST-EZE-PTY-YYZ with CM from YYZ.

I got a return in C from SGN to CPH for U$2.080 the other day, which is by far the cheapest I have ever experienced on this route.
