TK's Y choices n/s from US-IST

Getting ready to book a r/t (UA/M+) award US-IST, in Y for 2. No status. I could easily fly into several US/Canada gateway cities for a n/s from there to IST.

Seatguru says almost all of them fly non-stop with 773s in 3-3-3, except BOS & IAD (TK82/TK8) which use a333s 2-4-2. But seatguru hasn't always been correct in my experience. Is this info correct?

We're looking for best Y legroom, with IFE being second. Seatguru has Y pitch as "31-33" inches. So where on the 773s and a333s are the best "33 inch" Y pitches (besides bulkhead)? Will bulkhead be selectable 100 days out or is it likely to be already taken by others with status?

Is it worth it to have a much longer stopover in order to route to BOS/IAD for the a333s? Do some routes have newer/better planes? Any other differences between the two plane types or routes that I should know about?

Thanks a bunch for your help!!

Hi.

Will be flying on TK160 in business on the 22nd of November 2016.
If I look at the flights prior to that I will find that is an A330 -300. But on the 22nd it is an 200. Can anyone confirm?

Also found this:

Mon,Tue,Thu,Sat,Sun 01:10 Ataturk, Istanbul (IST) I 12:55 Mauritius (MRU)
TK 160 Non-stop Airbus A330-300 (333) 9:45 Effective from 2016-10-31

I'm looking at SFO-IST (777-300ER), connecting IST-LOS on an A321 (5 hours), so I'm curious about the state of the 321 - 2 X 2, or 3 X 3 with blocked centre seats? I'm 193 cm / 6'4" tall, so seat pitch is a concern as well (bruised knees from BA A321 30" pitch LHR-ATH).

Teşekkrler.

TK625 is being operated by an A330-200 (old style recliner, comfortable enough for this hop)

Flightaware shows it as a A333 pretty consistently but TK is known for last minute swaps.

Flying TK415 IST-VKO in business on Oct.20. Plane is shown as 32B on the new website, but seat map on the old website says 32M, and is strange:

AB EF
XX - XX
XX 2 XX
XX 3 XX
XX 4 XX
XX 5 XX

Is it new (2-2) or old (3-3) business class?

I've recently flown on TK609/608 IST-NBO-IST on an old (and I mean old) A330-200. The seats were more midhaul recliner seat and not even the angled lie flat you get on other A330-200 flying some longhaul destinations. Judging by the safety card there are only two of these birds in the fleet: TC-JNG and TC-JNF (both are ex-Qatar and Volare before that)

Definitely looks like a former QR bird. Even on TK's 77W the business class cabin has middle seats and a sub-par hard product (but amazing soft product).

Ugh! I was just contemplating booking this. So I'm guessing it is more like a NA domestic FC seat? Not even close to angle flat? Is there any possibility of sleep? This is for next Sept. so I wonder what the chances are that these dinosaurs would be replaced on this route by then?

I am flying OSL-IST-MCT (7.april) and MCT-IST-ARN (17.april). Looking at a dummy booking, I get the following seat map when selecting seats for IST-MCT, MCT-IST and IST-ARN.

What Business configuration is it? It has 5 rows of 3 seats...

I am flying TK55 SIN-IST in June and TK54 IST-SIN in July with twin 6mo infants.
From my ticket I can see I'll be flying on a 777-300ER, which seems to have a 333 config. After booking online, I was reserved a "bassinet seat as 11DG" on both flights. From the use of singular I'm wondering whether they noticed there are two infants and I'm not too sure whether this means that they're giving me two bassinets on that same row, or one only.
Do they actually have two bassinets on a single middle row? With five oxygen masks? Most seat maps available online don't show the location of the bassinets for that plane.

VCE-IST in J on a 321 next year. Will this just be the blocked centre seat or will it be a better seat?
