Excellent -- thanks very much, both of you (and particularly phillychuck).

I just got back from my appointment. The office is outside security, but it's not that easy to find (even with the instructions on how to get there, I had to ask for directions).

One tip for those going in the future: the hardest part of finding the office was finding the elevator to the third floor (where the office is). If you park in the terminal A west garage, the elevator is just inside the door from the garage -- don't go over the bridge to the main part of the terminal.

I have my appointment in the PHL office in two weeks. I'm flying out the same day on UA. Is it possible to drop my bags and check in on UA, then walk to the international terminal for my interview? Not sure how far it is. Thanks

Bumping up to include that it indeed was a little tricky to find. However, I found that, once I was at the ground floor of Int'l arrivals, turns out that not many airport staff knew about an Enrollment Center. However, I found that they could better direct me once I said I wanted the Customs Office, as it is the same building.

It's a separate entry door from the terminal, by the tour company desks and the charter tour bus area.

Luckily the agent was able to see us early, 1.5hrs before our time slot, due to an early arrival into HNL.

I'm going to go to the office and see if they will do my interview as a drop in as I'm flying out of PHL this week and will be away for a month. If the say no, I'll just have to book then reschedule until I can get there.

Does anyone know how to get to the office from A West check in area?

Anyone done Global Entry interview in San Juan

I have been lucky enough to be a UK citizen who had been provisionally approved for GE. Have my interview booked at SJU in 10 days and wondered if anyone had undertaken their interview there.

Thanks for any assistance.

Just did my interview there. Very easy experience, took 15 minutes tops. The very nice female CBP agent compared my passport and driver's license to the info in the system, asked a few questions about my last 5 years of travel, took my fingerprints electronically, explained TSA PreCheck and the Nexus card I would receive in mail and then had me walk through using the sample GE kiosk they have in the office.
San Juan Global Entry Enrollment Center is in Terminal D at San Juan's
Luis Munoz Marin Int'l Airport. It is fairly well signed. Walk down the hallway just to the right of the TSA checkpoint to gates 1-19 (and immediately to the left of the American Airlines main ticketing counters)
Note: Their door intercom button is temporary inoperative. Call 787 253-4526 to be escorted into the Enrollment Center.

We went to the office yesterday. There is a double smoked glass door in the International Arrivals hall that says do not enter. If you look through the door you can see the area where connecting passengers recheck their luggage after clearing customs. You must ring the doorbell to the left of the doorway to get entry.

Global Entry Enrollment Center location at EWR

Is it inside or outside the secure area?

"Terminal B - International Arrivals Area" is unhelpful.

I am flying in from MCI and have a layover at EWR before heading to FRA and I am wondering if I have to leave and re-enter the secure area.

No need to re-enter the secure area. walk against the flow of international arrivals. The enrollment center will be at your left just past the robo-chick welcoming everyone. There are plenty of clear signs leading to it. Sit outside in the waiting area until someone comes out.

Good luck,

Just to be clear, it is OUTSIDE the secure area, so after you arrive from MCI you will have to exit the secure area (regardless of which terminal you arrive into), visit the GE office, and then will have to reclear security for your FRA flight.

I did something similar for my interview back in Jan- arrive into Term C, exit security, airtrain to Term B, interview, airtrain back to Term C, re-enter security, take connecting flight.

GE Enrollment Center at IAH

The GE page indicates that it's possible to access the GE enrollment center without having to leave the secure area.

Where is that office? How do I get there?
