Just got an email from FLUX (in Dutch see below).
FLUX is being discontinued starting Jan 1st 2017. But don't worry, as Global Entry will conitiue for Dutch citizens, but it will just go direct with CBP. This is great news for Dutch GE members as it will mean we won't have to pay 150 Euro per year anymore for FLUX! The downside is we have to direct our questions to CBP and won't have the assistance of the FLUX team anymore.

U kunt zelf uw Global Entry lidmaatschap iedere 5 jaar online verlengen en uw nieuwe paspoort registreren via uw persoonlijke GOES account.

Vragen over Global Entry

FLUX Alliance Team

That's nice, but what about Dutch citizens who are not yet enrolled in FLUX program? I can't seem to be able to enroll via GOES account when I choose "Netherlands" as my nationality. Something I hope they can fix from 1st of January maybe?

According to their factsheet RPT-NL will replace FLUX.
Same rules as with FLUX i guess; first enroll and pass FLUX/RPT-NL and only then go for GE.

Read the factsheet again, indeed it's the case, RPT-NL will also work for Dutch citizens. When reading it for the first time missed that, understood that the program only applied for entering NL. Thanks for the help.
Also noticed recently that automatic gates for EU citizens in Schiphol have been changed to include other countries (US, CA and I think Australia). So the program almost in place. Yet no sign of any sing up possibilities though. Let's hope it'll be available soon.

Anything regarding whether Privium membership is compulsory to join RPT-NL?

You're fine without it. RTP-NL is all dutch travellers need to have a go at GE, FLUX and/or Privium are no longer needed.

After registering for the RTP-NL Programme, travellers of 18 years old and above from the United States of America, Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, Singapore and South-Korea in the possession of an e-passport can make use of the automated border passage facility upon arrival at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. This requires travellers to register in person at the RTP-NL registration desk of the Royal Marechaussee at Schiphol Airport.

The RTP-NL Programme additionally enables Dutch citizens to apply online for Global Entry, the Program for registered travelers in the U.S.A. Frequent travellers to the U.S.A. benefit from the Global Entry Program as it allows expedited clearance for pre-approved travelers upon arrival in the United States.

The RTP-NL Programme is a public/ private partnership: a co-operation between the Ministry of Security and Justice, the Royal Marechaussee and Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.

The RTP-NL Programme is planned to become operational in the end of 2016 and will replace the current FLUX Programme.

I tweeted Privium and they say now it'll go live between now and end of this year.

^Mirza

Is it true that the RPT-NL will be available to more citizens like Canadians and Australians or it is just a rumor?

Quote:

It's in the dutch language but i guess you can recognize the countries. KMar is having capacity problems atm. There might be some problems of manning that registrationdesk during the summer (peak travel)

First public information from Schiphol:

Global Entry for Dutch citizens to the U.S.A.
RTP-NL also enables Dutch citizens to enrol online for the Global Entry programme. Global Entry is a scheme designed for trusted travellers to the United States of America, who will get expedited clearance upon arrival. Global Entry applications are processed by the United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and all applicants undergo a background check and in-person interview before enrolment. The membership fee for the Global Entry Program is USD 100.00 for 5 years.

Background checks for Dutch citizens are facilitated by the Royal Marechaussee. This process is fully-automated, and comprises a small part of the application process. We are currently implementing technical changes to make this possible. We expect that we will be able to facilitate new Dutch Global Entry applications from October 2017.

Just now, I was able to apply for Global Entry with my Dutch passport via the Trusted Traveler Programs website of the U.S. CBP.
I submitted the application and and paid the $100 fee and am waiting for conditional approval.
Not sure if it's a glitch -- will keep you posted.

Since you're mentioning it, I took the plunge and just did the same.

Any updates from your end? I'm heading to the US in about two weeks so hoping I can have my interview then. Fingers crossed for conditional approval.
