Applied 06/30 and conditionally approved 08/25 (8 weeks exactly). Appointment set for 09/01 in Blaine, but trying to get it moved to this week.

Edit: Managed to snag an appointment for 08/29 in Blaine, and received an account status change email a couple hours after the interview.

Sorry for the late response. IIRC, I got the email a bit later that day.

Applied by mail june 16 and approved on Aug 15. Had to phone in 2 days ago to find that out as I hadn't received a letter yet. Low and behold it shows up yesterday (from Vermont). Yay ! Lady in Niagara Falls was very helpful and said the approval letters are taking longer than usual to be mailed out.
Now just have to enter everything into GOES and pick an interview date. Sweetgrass MT. methinks.

Since applications seem to be taking 8 weeks at a minimum, I would wait a bit past then. They're quoting 8-12 weeks, however.

8 weeks almost to the day: Applied on July 4, conditional approval September 3.

I'm Toronto-based, and YYZ has many open interviews spots from November onward; Fort Erie and Niagara Falls have immediate availability.

Update: A spot just opened up for tomorrow! I'll echo what everyone else suggests: keep checking the site for cancellations.

Same here. Applied July 6, conditional approval on Sept. 4. Scheduled an interview at YYZ for the exact date I wanted in November when I'm up in the NE for Thanksgiving.

I would call if I were you, it's been too long for your application!
You can call 866-399-5887
It's always an answering machine but According to the previous post you can leave a message and they will call you back.

Their voice message says that it's taking actually an additional 6-8 weeks for approbation .... Which means 14 to 16 weeks !!

That is the current experience, yes.

You can still use your NEXUS card, even when it is expired, until you receive your new one, as long as you have re-applied before the old card expires. That is what we were told.
