List of Global Entry Enrollment Centers

Post your walk-in experiences in the Wiki. If you cannot update the Wiki, then please post in the thread, and someone will paste your data point. Please format it as such under the enrollment center where you attempted to walk-in:

Yes/No [If Yes, put how long you waited in brackets] (Date and time attempted)

If someone in your family had an appointment at that time, please note that, too.

Examples:
Yes [45m] (4/2/2016 10am w/ a family member who had an appointment)
Yes [2h] (4/18/2016 3pm)
No (5/2/2016 12pm w/ a family member who had an appointment)
Yes [25m] (5/10/2016 9am)

-----------------------------------------
Disclaimer: These are only data points. There is no guarantee you will be successful as a walk-in.

Can I and our child get processed next week with my wife? We will all go together and when she goes in next week, I will tell her to request the officer to process 2 of us as well. Hope this happens. Our child is autistic and it ain't easy with one parent or even 2 in a small room.
YEA! I am guessing they will probably take the child with your wife. Hopefully all 3 but I am guessing they will let you be with your child in the room to help occupy the toddler while your wife is being fingerprinted, etc... Let's hope. You have nothing to lose by going. Keep checking back for earlier dates.

Update from EWR: I had my interview yesterday morning in Newark. The woman in front of me let the officer know that her parents and sister were with her and asked if they might also be interviewed. He told her it shouldn't be a problem, but wanted to get through all of those who had interviews scheduled for that time slot first. This was different than the experience we had last week when I was unable to get interviewed at my wife's appointment.

Bottom line: YMMV with walk-ins at EWR if you have are with a family member with a scheduled slot.

Was at ORD today and several people attempted to get walk-in interviews. They said they would take walk-ins so long as there weren't people in the waiting room that had actual reservations for the day. Most people gave up after a while but, during my interview, they said they had quite a few cancellations, leading me to believe that people would have a chance if they stuck around for a while.

Long story short, they do allow walk-ins but it may cost you a lot of waiting with no guarantee that you'll ever be seen.

My wife had taken my daughter for her appointment this past wednesday, my son's appointment was today.

We tried to get my son's finger printing also done on wednesday, but was turned down. We were told that my son had to have a reservation on that day, it could be any time but he needed to have a reservation.

On more trip to EWR.

The interviewing agent is a uniform CBP officer or someone in plain clothes in suits dress?

My wife has reservation next week. Hope they allow our child and I as well.

Thanks

Make sure you and your child at least have a reservation made. There was one person that stopped in that had conditional approval for their child but hadn't booked an appointment for him/her yet. They weren't interested in "interviewing" that child.

That sounds like my experience in BOS last fall. They essentially said no when I asked about a walk-in and I said well my flight is in 4 hours do you mind if I just hang around and if someone no-shows I grab their slot and they said you're welcome to hang around. After about 3 back to back no-shows they finally relented and took me, probably just so they could get rid of me.

Successfully renewed GE at the downtown (not YVR airport) Vancouver Nexus enrollment center. My 2 kids had Nexus interview appointments. I think she took pity on me because my interview was scheduled in PDX on Jan 2017 and my GE expiry date was Dec 2016. Wiki has been updated.

Success at SFO after a 20-minute wait; 2 officers suggested that "it was looking good" for a walk-in. Interview quick and painless. Wiki updated. Much better than turning up for my scheduled 0:45 appointment in a few weeks

Went to my 8:15 appointment at IAD today. Of note is that that the entrance door says the office doesn't open until 10 am, but CBP officer arrived around 8. Waiting room had a sign on the wall saying no walk-in appointments. All people in the waiting room had appointments for this morning except possibly for one spouse.

While taking the passports for two couples, the CBP officer made it sound like she only needed one of them to have an appointment today so spousal/family walk-ins definitely sound possible at IAD. Unfortunately, I cannot comment on straight-up walk-ins.

Just wanted to add my experience at SFO today. Walk in, appointment isn't until July 24 but I need to fly unexpectedly. Arrived at ~5:45AM to a closed office. CBP officer opened up shop at ~6AM and gave me a signup sheet. He processed one person with an appointment, then called me in. I was done by 6:15AM. Not bad!

Welcome to FT. Thank you for sharing. I have edited wiki for you.

I thought SFO office is open 24/7 until 21 Aug 2016?

Thanks! I thought it was open 24/7 too (which is why I went at 6AM), but when I arrived this morning fellow applicants told me that it was closed and somebody had called for some staff to be sent over. Perhaps they went for coffee?
