US/Canadian-issued ABTC can only be used to access the APEC/Crew/Diplomat lane. It does not replace/waive any visa requirements. Chinese embassy webpages mentioning visa not being required is for ABTC with CHN endorsed on the back. No US/Canadian-issued ABTC will have that endorsement.
The button to renew your US/Canadian ABTC will appear in your profile 30 days before the card expiration date.

Time to get APEC card? Anyone experiencing delays?
I applied for the APEC card through GOES and was approved very quickly. Then I went in for signature capture, and I was notified the same day by GOES that my APEC card would be mailed within 3 weeks.
It's now been almost 4 weeks, and there's no sign of the APEC card. How long did it take for you to get yours? And where do I go for assistance if it hasn't come? Any experiences or tips would be greatly appreciated.

Is the ability to take a companion with you in the lines a common thing? I ask because I will be traveling to BKK and SGN. My gf who will be with me is not a USA citizen and not elligible for the ABTC. I will be doing VoA in Saigon so I guess it doesn't matter quite as much for arrival but for departure in both BKK and SGN it would be VERY helpful.

The rules of the program say no.
In my experience, BKK will probably allow a companion, but SGN will almost certainly not.

Had an interesting experience in Manila yesterday; I entered on a personal trip without showing the card (and there was no immigration line to speak of, so no reason to fib)... and was asked for my ABTC, I guess based on the computer showing prior entries.

Did my GE renewal and 1st time APEC at MIA on 5/3. Approvals appeared in my account on 5/4. GE renewal card arrived within a week. Today is 6/2 and still have not received APEC card and there doesn't seem to be any contact info anywhere as to whom one can call to inquire.
By the way, I applied for my APEC card last August. I thought I needed to make an appointment for interview at SFO. So I finally had my interview on May 11 (after one reschedule). The GE officer said I could have just walked in for the APEC card. Oh well.

I am in the same boat. I had my interview at SFO on May 11, and I still haven't received the card. The Global Entry officer at the interview told me that I would receive the card within thirty days "if not sooner." I remember I received my GE card one to two weeks after the GE renewal last year. I wonder if the APEC card is issued by a different entity?

Can I ask which month/year you received the card? It appears there is a delay - at least three FTers including myself have been waiting for the card for about a month.

You can add me to the list of those waiting. My interview was May 12 in Singapore. I received the GE card in one week. But no APEC card yet. I requested that the APEC card be sent to the same US address as the GE card (it was recommended by the interview officer).

January 2015. I had my GE for several years and I had been frequenting APAC about six times a year. I don't know if these make any difference.
