The tickets on Cathay were easy to get. We started looking to go to Africa May 2016. Deciding I could not book it myself, I looked into using a TA in August. By October, I had the trip and flights secured. I used my points from Alaska Airlines for the tickets to Africa. I have no status anymore, just points. I purchased the in country tickets from Kristina, our TA.

Yes, we did take malaria pills. They were recommended on FT, by our Travel Medicine vendor, and by each of the three countries/lodges we stayed at.
