This review is from our 2017 vacation to the adults only, all-inclusive Luxury Bahia Principe Ambar Blue in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

Bahia Principe is a resort complex that also includes Ambar Green, Esmeralda, Fantasia, Grand Bavaro, and Grand Turquesa. Its located next to the Hard Rock Hotel on Bavaro Beach.

We liked:
- The resort is beautiful
- Food exceeded our expectations, both buffets and à la carte restaurants
- This large resort had many activities and offered off-resort tours
- Clean / well maintained with impressive gardening / landscapting

We disliked:
- Slow service. The standing joke was 1 minute in the Dominican Republic = 1/2 hour in the U.S.A.
