SJ (Sriwijaya Air) DPS-DIL-DPS

Another flight I took mainly to visit a random country. Given that there are very little trip reports about Timor Leste (East Timor) and about the airlines getting there, I decided that this might be a useful trip report for those who want to visit Timor Leste. I took a roundtrip flight from Denpasar-Bali to Dili on Sriwijaya Air. Dili only has 3 international flights from: Denpasar-Bali (Sriwijaya Air), Singapore (charter operated by Silk Air), Darwin (Air North).

It appears they specialise in serving brightly coloured unidentifiable deserts!

Cool, looks like they're still serving that mysterious and slightly fluorescent jelly.

So did you see much of Dili?

They haven't changed the meals ex-DIL that much... I flew the same route in May 2016 but at the time they were operating ex-Continental Boeing 737-500s...

Here's my full trip report with some other Dili tips...
Off to East Timor (Timor-Leste)!!

Is the cheapest way to reach DIL via SIN or Darwin? Trying to find the most convenient option.

Ex-DPS (Bali) by far the cheapest option with 2-3 carriers on the route.
Other than that it's a short hop that I know other FTs take from Darwin. On GF I don't see flights from SIN that don't require stops in DRW.
