Sounds great until TSA has the random alarm at T4 Pre turned up to 11...person in front of me got the random alarm, had to go through the nudeoscope. I went through right behind them...got it as well (opted out). Someone else had opted out just before I did as well; with the layout, only a Precheck BP holder would be there, so he likely got random alarmed too. All this when the "transfer" TBIT checkpoint area (to the right after exiting baggage dropoff) was empty and I probably would have been given precheck-lite. But no, I had to walk all the way from there to T4 when I was already planning to walk back to the QF F TBIT lounge to use Precheck, just to get groped at T4 with the random alarm turned up to 11 . So yeah, six of one, half dozen of the other, particularly if one doesn't mind the nudeoscope.
LOL. That's too funny bsagator.

Sad update: Effective 20 June 2017, Garuda will cut First Class offering for its LHR-CGK route and switch to a two-class Boeing 777-300 arrangement. Bahasa Indonesia news sources also hints at the possibility that GA's London-Jakarta route might be scrapped altogether if it continues to be a money-losing destination for Garuda.

Better book your ticket between now and June 20 if you want to experience GA's first class service while it still lasts

AMENDMENT: The airline confirmed on February 28 that this report is erroneous, and it has no current plans to drop its first class product on the London route.
