London to Doha on Qatar Airways Business Class
I recently flew from London to Doha on Qatar Airways, travelling in Business Class on a 777-300ER.
As normal, I have produced a video trip report which you can watch via new embedded player here:
In general, I was very impressed with the QR service. Highlights included the quality of the Premium Lounge at LHR T4 - a facility which I think is better than the BA Concorde Room - and the food and drink offered on board.
Some photos from the trip:
Bollinger and canapes in the T4 Lounge:

Menu - remember this is a business class product featuring dine on demand:

Main course of braised lamb with puy lentils, this was one of the best dishes I have ever had on an aeroplane. Truly delicious:

Cheeseboard washed down with a glass (ahem, several glasses) of 1974 Kopke

Hope you enjoy the report and I look forward to answering any questions you may have...

I flew earlier this year on A330, B777, and A380.
The whole experience was superb, the service was second to none it is truly a 5* airline.
Your report was excellent thanks.
I would also like to add QR business class is the equivalent to most 1st class airlines.
Especially in regards to wine list and laying out of silverware and napkin etc.

Thanks for the TR.
I too was impressed with my recent QR flights to BKK.
One sector on the A340, which was not our favourite as the seating felt more cramped compared to the 1-2-1 on the UD of the A380. I have not flown on the BA A380, but the seating sounds much more cramped, although the pitch may be better.
I had some really good meals (desserts are not a strong point but I was full up by then) and enjoyed good champagne (Billecart-Salmon) served in a lovely flute.
On the A380. this was followed up with a lounge visit for some Krug.
