Alkaff is a stunning location - it's quiet, well appointed, and oozes colonial charm.
The food was authentic and well thought out - I wished to deviate from the menu slightly and they accommodated accordingly. Odd to think most of it had travelled about as far as I had (LHR-SIN).
I was addressed by title and surname throughout (to the great amusement of my O/H) and our designated waiter was extremely attentive.
As you'd expect, they had a good selection of wines. Pricey, but then again it is Singapore.
