Going shooting was just like bowling - turn up, book a lane, pick a pistol and choose how many rounds to buy.
I have indeed done a /welldone - I was expecting a WTP meal, so tasted all the better!

I still haven't received a response from customer relations through email, but I called them yesterday. Was through in 10 minutes, explained the situation and they took all the details. Within 20 minutes they'd credited the original JFK-ORY flight and the BA335 ORY-LHR that we didn't take.
So this morning we woke up to a fabulous tinge to our BA.com accounts:
