If you're making factory visits in Dongguan and Shenzhen (seems likely...), please add some photos of the surrounding areas. I'd like to take a guess as to which neighborhoods they are!

Sadly not, although we use some sites in Guangdong we won't actually be visiting any of them this time around. We're only in Guangzhou for 3 days to visit the fair and then up north for some site visits in Shandong.

Yep, sorry, I've had some issues with iCloud messing up getting some of my photos onto my PC, which resulted into a trip into an apple store to sort it out...
I've now got them on my PC at work, but due to the rural broadband down 'ere I need to remember to stick them on a USB stick and get them back home. It's coming I promise, and it will hopefully fulfill all of your slightly odd FGW-related yearnings...

Canton Fair Hotel
Hi all,

I am planning to go to the 119th edition of the canton fair in china.
I have been looking for a hotel which suit my needs and has a western design and culture.
It took me quite some time but I negotiated with the grand hyatt in guangzhou and they gave me a discount code which I would like to share with businesses who wants to stay in a high comfort hotel for a cheaper price This discount code is for all interested in the canton fair, which is 59434!
