Nice report! I flew the NRT-JFK route in F last month and have NRT-ORD scheduled in F for the very beginning of next year. Really looking forward to it, except unfortunately there is 1 less hour to enjoy the Salon and Dom when going to ORD instead of JFK.

Glad you tried so many snack options! Last time I forgot that there wasn't a second formal meal and so I held back. I won't be making that mistake again!

One heck of a pretentious, self-indulgent trip report. At least the pictures are decent.

I am sorry, there was not much written for me to judge the pretentiousness, but the pictures, as you note were OK.
A bit too detailed for 1 flight, but if I ever want to fly JAL, all accounted for in excruciating details.

Great report as usual, very nice pictures! I must say that JAL's First Class looks impressive, though for whatever reason I find their new Business Class to look equally appealing. Quite a contrast from your flight on TK Economy

Thanks for the trip report. I must point out though that the AA 777 in your picture is a 772 and not a 77W....

From the form/style of English, I think something may have been lost in the translation.

I do find it really funny that people actually think they can tell the difference betwixt different Champagnes in flight at 35,000 feet, especially since (I'm guessing) most of them only actually drink these when flying and wouldn't pay for them on the ground.

Personally, the wine and sake selections looked stunning. Salon, it's nice. same with Dom, but looks like I would have piled into the sake....

Nice TR. seems like the flight was less than 9. I was surprised you rated it this high given the comments.

I like the shot of the mini J cabin. That would be my go to.

How was the cabin temp?
