Excellent trip report! Aer Lingus seems to constantly overprice its rather humble J product, but glad that you got it for almost free.

Thnaks for the report. My wife and I did SNN-BOS return in J using avios. Decent product for shortish flights adn not too many avios. Glad you enjoyed Ireland.

I flew BOS/DUB return the week of Christmas and on both legs J went out almost completely deserted. I understand not wanting to water down the brand or whatever by selling cheap upgrades, but one might think that they would at least want to make a couple bucks off those seats. I would be curious as to how much full-fare business they do.

Thanks, the second link(part 2) for the Westbury hotel was a deadline (typo in my hyperlink). All the others appeared to work fine. I have updated the second link in the Original Post so should be ok now. Let me know if you have issues viewing going forward.

Fantastic trip report, I really enjoyed reading your reviews and seeing your wonderful photos. I think the Irish Tourist Board should give you a job in their marketing dept!! I am a big fan of the EI transatlantic product in Premier and usually represents excellent value for money if you can plan your trip a couple of months in advance.
