great report. You really got the newest possible product there!

Instead of dreading the 747 All Series I guess I should start looking for it.

Noticed that as well. Great TR. And with the Dom in the bar area I would surprised if it lasted to long before it was empty

There are a huge amount of pictures, again thanks to aislealways helping me understand the best way to post these, and I will post several messages with different topics. Hopefully that saves loading 50 something pictures in 1 huge message.

Bangkok-Frankfurt, December 7th, TG920 747 All Series overnight flight.
This flight had the new refurbished F cabin with the 9 suite type seats in the front.

Frankfurt-Bangkok, December 16th, TG921 Airbus A380 Inaugural Flight.
The first long-haul passenger flight for Thai Airways out of Europe. The aircraft had done a number of regional trips over 2 months and of course the long-haul to Frankfurt.

Beautiful report. Thank you for the credit - none required, you're way smarter than me

Really want a ride on that upgraded 747 First Class, as it were.

Thanks all for the great comments, doing the trip report is like almost doing the journey again (excluding the champagne) and your comments make it all really rewarding!

Thanks for a very nice report. I had tried to get J or F on US miles for FRA BKK.Not available so have settled on BKK NRT in J on A380. Will be writing a TR on my return in FEB.

Great pics! There are never enough and enjoyed the stairs and seats instead of just the standard pics. I found the pics of the plane through the camera to be impressive and not like EK, AF, or LH. The purple stripe makes a difference!
