Why are you sitting in the Senator lounge? If you have arrived in F you have access to the FCL.

Get your butt over to the FCL or FCT, pronto!

The dragon saw that I was connecting to TG F and said this was 'the only lounge' I had access to despite arriving in LH F. Was the dragon right? I did see the LH F lounge around B22 on my way to the gate for TG 921.

Dragon was wrong. Your LH First BP entitled you to use any FCL on the day you arrived.

Unfortunately, this is not correct and the LD was right:

"FCL: First Class boarding pass (LH/LX) for a same-day arriving / departing flight"

As the OP left the day before he is not entitled to use the FCL.

Had he been departing on LH I think the story would have been different.

Sorry, but you are incorrect.
The FCL is available as an arrivals lounge to any (same day) arriving LH First pax, regardless of ongoing carrier or even if the final destination is just FRA or MUC. OP would not have access to the FCT without an ongoing LH group flight.

From LH.com..
As well as the Lounge Area in the First Class Terminal, there are two other exclusive First Class Lounges available to you in Frankfurt Airport’s Terminal 1. Here, before departure, after landing or between flights, our First Class passengers and HON Circle Members can get in the right frame of mind for the next stage of their journey in peace and quiet.

Actually, he is entitled and I have done this at least 12 times in the last 2 years. If you arrive in F, you can use any FCL, full stop.
To which airline you connect is irrelevant.

Nothing else did I say, didn´t I?
LH.com seems to be inconsistent then or how do you read that passus:

Flyingfox, happy that you had different experiences.

Actually you did. You specifically wrote "As the OP left the day before he is not entitled to use the FCL." That is not correct.
Flights from the US all depart the day before they arrive in FRA or MUC, n'est-ce pas?

+1. So if you arrive in F from NRT or SIN then you can use it, but if you arrive in F from SFO or IAD you can't? That would be a ridiculous rule if it were the case...

Well, exactly. Et en fait, that is the crux with departing from the US and NOT from Asia with regard to the LH F-Lounge.

Anyway, nice pictures, OP! Thanks for that ^

I took this exact flight from IAD to FRA (see below in signature) and was granted access to the FCL in FRA. The LD in question was mistaken which is a shame for the OP.

Perhaps the OP should write to LH about it.
