Trip Report: AY ZRH-HEL-ZRH Y/C (23 x 900px)
This is my second trip report here on flyertalk (my first one can be found here LX/ NZ ZRH-NRT-AKL-PVG-ZRH Y (with pics). This one is about my return trip from Zurich to Helsinki. The first leg is in economy class and the second leg is in business.
I hope you enjoy it.
Flight ZRH- HEL in Y
Flight: AY 864
Aircraft: Airbus A319
Reg: OH-LVD
Flight time: 2h 38 min
A beautiful boarding pass
The departure was on runway 32
The terminal E which is used for non-Schengen flights.
Flying an left turn over the airport
High above the ground, with heading to Helsinki
On this flight there was an "meal" service, in economy class there was a ham- cheese sandwich. And all packed in the "eco friendly" box.
The flight moves on and the sun is going down...
Just beautiful
We arrived in Helsinki a little bit behind schedule. The flight was uneventful, the service was a little bit slow but friendly. All in all it was a pleasant flight.

And then we took off, you can see the construction work on the runway 04L/22R
We are flying a left turn
And Finland is soon lying behind us... see you hopefully soon !
Time to have a look at the seat from row 1
Soon after our departure the service began... A menu list was handed out.
And a "snack" was served
The meal
"Gardener's chees salad"
Just a normal fresh salad
"Grilled country chicken with mushroom sauce, vegetables and barley risotto"
The chicken was a little bit chewy, but the risotto was good.
"Baby pancakes with blueberry jam"
This was in my opinion the best part
All in all the food was good, what more would you expect on an 2.5h flight?
The service was always good and friendly.
And about 1.5 h after the meal service we arrived in Zurich on time. This was my small trip report
